Background
I believe that contributing to the UX community is a good way to give back for all the support I have received from other UX-ers during the years. This is why I use my broad skill set to volunteer at the User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA) during my spare time. Working side by side with other talented UX designers, researchers, and strategists is an amazing way to stay on top of the most recent user experience trends.

Organisation Info
UXPA is the largest international organisation of UX professionals. It was founded in 1991 with the goal to support “people who research, design, and evaluate the user experience (UX) of products and services” (uxpa.org/about-us). The organisation provides industry standards, facilitates professional development, and advocates for usability and user experience.
UX Magazine is the official UXPA online periodical publication dedicated to the most recent usability and user experience topics.
In 2004 UXPA established the World Usability Day which is one of the most popular yearly usability events ever since.
